I have a Bosch and for my model, because it doesn't have a ore-wash function; number 1 is used to feed water to the machine.

This is so helpful! My stupid washer has all these logos hidden behind the drawer front wall so you have to stick your face on the machine to be able to see it.

Now you put softener and detergent together then you start washing or after you wash that's when you put softener.

Its the best to put liquid detergent directly into the drum. And prewash is for heavy soiled loads

Some washing machines have a pre-wash option, (bowl with I as shown in video) When clicked it will add 15-30 mins to the cycle and during that time it will mostly just use a bunch of water to aggregate the dirt on the clothes, If you poured detergent into that bay it will dispense it

You put the calgon with the detergent (slot marked II). And try not to use fabric softener. Fabric softeners are bad for you, the environment and the washing machine. They also interfere with the absorbency of towels and the performance of sports clothes (sweat -wicking).

Yes fabric softener comes out in the rinse if you put it in those it could come out in the wash and you may have to wash ur clothes again

it's a setting to remove hard stains before your actual wash, hence "pre" wash. You could think of it like soaking clothes before washing them.

You put detergent there if you are using the prewash mode. If not, you can leave it empty. Prewash is basically soaking your laundry.
