I just got a brand new pair of Air Force ones for my birthday and this works really well and honestly I just want to say you are really smart for doing this, like I wouldn't even have thought of this!

that's how I be lacing mine, b4 actually watching this video. I like this concept, because it has let me feel like I was lacing them the right way and wearin them wit socks to prevent creases in the front of them when u wears them. the socks for me is a necessity wit my sneakers, especially because sometimes the sneakers might be a little too spacious, so a sock can help take up some of that space inside the shoes, plus prevent the inside of the shoes from gettin dirty as well

my issue is i got wide but shorter feet. my normal size is an 8 and i was gonna order down a half size so there wasn’t as much room at the toe but i’m glad i went with the 8 because even now the sides are a little tighter

I would cut an old Air Force 1 sole about the size of the toe box and put it inside the shoe(at the top of my feet) and that prevents most creasing.

Cool idea thanks BUT i cant handle when my socks arnt straight in my shoes lol i can feel it and it annoys the hell out of me 😂 I did watch a guy on youtube that did a thin plastic cut out of the shoe box and he slid the thin plastic into the shoe and it sat flush up top of the AF shoe box, he said you cannot feel it at all and he put one shoe on with the plastic cut out and one shoe with out you could clearly see the one without crease and the one with the plastic guard not crerase at all 😊

u can just add some dr. scholls work boot gel insoles. more comfy than socks and it makes it feel like ur walking on pillows

Or you could just put on your long crew socks half way through and when you put your foot in the shoe, fold the sock upwards on your foot. That makes it much more comfortable around the toe box too!

AF1s are best worn loose laced, laces hanging outside and look great with heel slippage and Nike white socks, but socks must be ice white if going for the super loose look with heel slippage.

Just switch the insole with a thicker insole. Sock creates uneven surface can bad for your feet

First 2 holes are the hardest for me, the tag keeps slipping out of place

**Big tip that might help some of you guys out!!!!** If you put an extra sole (or even 2) from one of your old shoes into your AF1 it helps to prevent creases without having to deal with the sock In the bottom of the shoes. Honestly I find the shoes more comfortable with an extra sole, since AF1 are naturally bulky. Also crease protectors are a huge plus+ but I understand this video was made to show homemade solutions
