That's really depends on a dialect. Westerners are saying tak because of Polish influence. And easterners are saying da because of Russian. I think that the most common word for slavs of these two is da as more slavs are using it.

@soniairacisareri6076
@soniairacisareri6076 Жыл бұрын
Well, actually many Ukrainians say "да", instead of "так", even in formal situations when speaking Ukrainian language. It's kind of an influence from nearby Russia. However, you're right on the fact that grammatically "да" is uncorrect in Ukrainian language, because "yes" should be said "так", so I understand your disappointment. What about you? Even though I think the answer will be obvious, I'd like to know whether in spoken language you specifically say "да" or "так".

@ioaotan
@ioaotan Жыл бұрын
Actually, we don't use 'ははははは' much. Its very rare to see someone saying it. it sounds too dry, like a message with little to no effort. It also sounds like the person is annoyed, and the message itself could sound sarcastic. For example If Person A texts Person B a meme that they thought was funny, and B says "ははは" its kinda like telling A that the meme is not funny at all, indirectly. Which is basically kinda like sarcasm Instead we use 'w' like shown in the video, which is used as a casual expression, or '笑' that is used as a more formal expression, mostly used towards seniors and older people. ('笑' can also sound dry sometimes, but like 'w', you can write multiple of the same character to make it look like you have the effort to actually show that you are enjoying the moment.)
