How to layer Albrecht Dürer and Polychromos pencils World of Flowers | Johanna Basford Colour along

Күн бұрынToday I will show you how to colour flowers by layering Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. I am working in the Adult Colouring book World of Flowers by Johanna Basford, and we are going to start on a little Valentines heart.
There are many ways to blend coloured pencils today I am using Caran d’Ache blender pencil and a Derwent Drawing Chinese White pencil.
I will show you some tips and tricks on how to use watercolour pencils in adult colouring books.
I will also show how to use watercolours as a base layer and add coloured pencils on top.

I just bought the Albrecht Durer pencils. I am correct that you use them as a base to cover the tooth and to use less layers of the polychromos? Btw, beautiful work. Thank you for this tutorial!

@@vickicaire1185 yes, that’s correct. It helps me give a good base coverage, and is a fair bit faster to use compared to the polychromos, so I do usually shave a couple of hours off the time it takes to finish a page. Thank you so much for watching 💖💖

I have albrecht durer, but I always use polychromos, maybe I should try this technique, thank you 😊

I use Staedtler Mars tabletop manual sharpener for all of my pencils.
