How to layer and blend with Chalk Paint / DIY Furniture Makeover

For this video we will go over some layering and blending with Chalk Paint. Using a combination of Annie Sloan and Rustoleum products, Linen White and Graphite (White & Grey), I'll show you how I created this beautiful look. This DIY project can be done in any combination of colors you may like, the possibilities are endless! I am getting ready to paint my entire bedroom set using this technique. I painted my dining room set using the same colors but in a ragging technique that you demonstrated in an earlier video. It turned out to be a STUNNING set! Everyone that has seen it raves about it. I look forward to finishing this next set and moving ahead to the next room. Painting relaxes me, so it's not a chore. I have a bunch of furniture some i think are wood but other are laminate. I love the chalk pain look. First laminate so do you sand it? Also do you need to put some protection over the chalk paint? Second some of my furniture seems to be kinda wood but its not real heavy so im not really sure. Some pieces arent glossy so its hard to decide. I just want to paint it all lol.
