Happy 2022!! :) Yall I am so in love with this style! I've been doing my hair like this for months and I have yet to get tired of it haha. This video shows how I get the layered look I started doing towards October 2021. Before that, I parted my hair the exact same and just used 5 packs of the 18" all over. (The thumbnail shows both looks. The layered version is on the left & the 18" is on the right)

I had to come here to say a MILLION MILLION thank you for this tutorial. I'm learning to do my own hair due to my scalp being mangled and now overly sensitive from years of tiny braids. THIS TUTORIAL saved my life. I bought this hair but didn't want to crotchet in. I've tried your way with one packet and babbbbbby.....it looks goooood..if I say so myself lol

I’ve been LOVING protective styles as I totally damaged my curls from straightening but did braids for 6 months, growth and health was AMAZING so back to a protective style til winter cause I do enjoy it straight so am deff using your video for reference. GIIIIIRL I love this!!!! I have 3C hair so typically wash and go, but have been wanting to try something new that I can also wrap with yarn and charms. I can't commit to dreads so this is the next best thing and SOOO cute. I don't like the super tight root look so really, this is perfect. Thank you for sharing

I’m about to get these locs installed for the 3rd time! I am obsessed! They are just amazing! The style is so versatile! I buy mine from xtrend and I first got 24” that was beautiful!
