sorry this is the best youtuber to learn anything on fortnite very underrated most youtuber just put a lot of hype and stylish plays without much explanation but this gives a breakdown of diferent examples how to do them and how to aply them in game and makes it worth it by showing you it in game

I've known what piece control was for a while now and have been using it (like the dummies in your examples of bad piece control lol), but now I finally feel like I *understand* it. I can only imagine what intermediate and advanced piece control look like if this is the noob level though lol (edit: my comment made sense when the title was 'piece control for noobs,' but he changed it apparently and now I look dumb)

Thanks for the video. I stopped playing in Season X and got back in Chapter 3. I missed the whole "tunneling/piece controlling" part. Now I'm trying to learn these things and nobody explained how to perform basic piece control mechanisms.

Hey, I'm not sure how I can ask this, but I have some confusion on binds related to some of the actions done. It looks like in the very first example when you're boxing someone in with a ramp and 3 walls, that when you're on the right side of the wall on top of the cone, you reset the wall with a croner edit, and make it into a wall with a window at the same time. In the past I understood all you needed in order to do this was to just reset it while not leaving build mode, and then confirming the edit. Fast forward to now that I've changed my binds to scroll wheel up edit+reset. This makes it so that every time I reset the edit is immediately confirmed. Do people have a secondary reset button besides scroll wheel up I don't know about?

had quite some trouble getting the walls to place easily on controller on example 4...and sometimes it seemed like I literally had to get on the ramp of the bot to place the far wall

This game doesn’t get the respect it deserves. It has the reputation of being a kids game because of the game colours, skins & items. I think the building + editing mechanics make this the hardest online multiplayer out there. At the highest levels, it’s amazing to watch top builders compete and fight it out. Such a skilful game.
