Was watching this while working on a DE Star Wars that didn't have a working /blanking line. Found the a via by the "B" on the PCB was destroyed from previous battery damage. Good to go now... was a different issue... but still enjoyed the videos.

Thanks for taking the time to share. I did a few where battery chemical damage climbed under C5 and D5 and I had to take out the sockets clean the board replace the sockets check continuity on all the pins,not fun but they are still working.

let me give a tip, put the desoldering gun and wiggle the pins for 2sec and active pump in same time continue winggling the pin... if its flat pins, wiggle in back and forth... if its round pin, wiggle in circular motion... you will have amazing result

Great video, very informative. I am a newbie at repairing boards myself, and I had a question hopefully you can answer. I have a Lethal Weapon 3 with solinoid issues. Specifically all of them that connect to the CN11 bank. Everything else functions as it should, just no solinoids. Any thoughts on where I should look first?
