Jordan, ac odyssey has a great way to 'cheese' naval battles. I beat the tempest by doing it, if you can board a ship repair yours then swim to an enemy ship, killing them will disable the ship leaving it floating.

Why do I get the feeling that this video was intentionally slowed down to last 10min+ ?

I've been non stop grinding on the game. This is very useful info I'm on level 60 at the moment this helps for sure.

I always go to quest board in each region, grab all the quests and set off exploring. Currently on 2nd NG+ playthrough, level 99 + mastery level 46. I do have the permanent boost on but I find you can go up a couple of levels each session if you grab the hourglass quests as well, they are usually super easy, you don't have to go far from giver and it nets you 40500 in most cases. This is in addition to doing the main story and side quests. Nice easy way of farming xp, plus attracting mercs and constantly killing them.

I have 250 hrs in odyssey and didn't know that last interaction, thx so much!

A thing I’ve noticed (from the Atlantis dlc) the main quests give like 100k+ exp on 90+ if you needed that final straw of exp (of course with +50% gain)

After you reach lvl 99 you can keep leveling up and will get an ability point each time. For example, I've leveled up nine times since then and it's noticeably faster. In my case it said "Level 19" during the animation that played when gaining the new level. And completing message board contracts indeed works well and I do them routinely. Again, you will notice a difference after lvl 99. Btw, the save game I used to start new game + with was lvl 70 and after finishing the latest First Blade DLC It only took a few days to get to lvl 99.

i reached level 99 a few days ago. i dont know why but i didnt know ppl were looking for strats to reach that level. no one seems to be asking about it, but glad to know ppl are looking.

you can also get contracts from the message board in Boeotia for defeating enemy soldiers and lowering nation power that give legendary level XP on top of farming the conquest battles combining the two strategies

Xp farm: Needed stuff:be able to knock out So u go to a polemarch (or any soldier but polemarchs is giving the most) knock him or her out then u bind your secondary interaction or something to your crouch so u are recruiting on the same button as your crouch then spam and u get like 11k xp per click then load up netflix or something and watch a movie while spamming (if on pc get a macro it will help out)

Even if you board a merc ship via your ship boarding, the merc will still drop their own gear and stuff

But you dont point out the fact that you have the XP multiplier so it doubles the XP gain.

That last method is what i used the moment i got to megaris when i was level 10 to level up to level 35 before i continued on with the story

The huntress run also counts for daughters of Artemis. So that's two bird one stone.

I’m not getting any of those regions contracts to spawn, I only get naval and spartan/Athenian stuff.

I got 2 contracts for 5 spartan ships and one for 5 spartan trem ships yesterday. I got a ton of xp, dracmae and mats when I completed all 3 at once.

Hit level 60+ recently, currently 67 and I’ve just started the message boards finally after focusing on everything else first: and I’ve noticed how difficult it’s becoming to level up. I’ve only truly noticed because I have two walkthroughs, the one on my partners PS4 having the season pass so the extra exp boost. Am quite a few quests behind on that one compared to the character on my PS4 and yet the level different is insane. 67 on one, and 79 on the male despite being behind. So these tips on this video will be a massive help, thanks 👍

I didn't know those islands counted for adding bounty's. That's rather handy. Up till now, I was just using the arena to clear out the "take out bandits across Grease" contracts.

I just did a level a day in arena, in the 90's do some ship battles they give 250k xp

This game is so fun I can play it for hours I just got it about a week or two ago and I'm lvl 63, just got the dionysus set and am using the greek hello sword with the arachne stingers and engraved 100 percent dmg but health capped to 25 percent And I one shot a lvl 78 mercenary at lvl 61 Lol it's such a beast set I can clear a whole fort in like 1 or 2 minutes

I'm still learning as I go. Currently level 82. I'm going from zone to zone hitting every unexplored area and picking up every quest I can find. I thought a fun video you might do would be to showcase some of yours and others favorites outfit designs.

im very late to party but phokis fortresses are also not too far away for early level grind (right after megaris quest) the bottom right fortress of phokis has nikolas cages national treasure +2 supply burning and upper one has 3 supplies and they are fairly easy to do the sneaky way and good for l early level runs before beotia which ill do now :)

With the merc ship thing: if you kick the merc off you can get the gear rather than just cleave. But you don’t get cleave do or materials.

Here's a Strategy that you didn't mention. "Gear Farm". First, make sure you are a S4 Mercenary, but it will also work on lower levels, if you are new to the game. S4 because of the perk of "better drops" as far as epic gear. Secondly, lower your play style to "Easy" and also make sure that you have "Heavy" on gameplay checked. This way, you will always play at the "easy level", but the "bosses", "Leaders", "Hoplites", and "Captains" are at a higher level than you are. Again, this is a "farming for gear pieces" strategy, so the level of play won't matter (easy or nightmare). It's all about speed and getting the most gear pieces that you can. Thirdly, put all your unused "legendary" and the "Epic Gear" that yo, u aren't using in your storage on the boat. Keep ones you might think could be good for a build, but I don't think it will matter. The end result is keep what you know is good in storage. Fourthly, make sure you have your best "Hunter Build" with "Multi Shot". Have High Crit Damage full Health, H.igh Crit Chance full health, Crit Damage and Crit Chance, as well as good "Warrior" supporting abilities: Ring of Chaos, Bull Rush, to get you out of a jam. Lastly, here is the Strategy: Farm "undiscovered Leaders" or Leaders in a region. On your map, find a region and the "Undiscovered Leader", and highlight him. Then, click on the nearest "viewpoint" and sprint to find him. This is usually a Fort. Before entering the fort, use Icharos to identify him, and his Hoplite/captains around him. Then, climb the nearest wall or sneak into the fort, so that you can "Immediately use Multi-shot" to kill him and his entourage. It might take 2-3 Multi-Shots in a Row, and sometimes a devastating shot, but you can clear them out quickly. Then collect your bounty (Gear pieces) and anything near you (war pieces on a shelf, or ping it and drachmae), and escape. There will be times when a "Mercenary appears", so Kill him too, and get another gear set. "Leader and Hoplite" gives you 1 epic gear piece. Captain or Archer might give you an epic or a "blue"/low gear piece. But, you should get 2-5 gear pieces per assault on the "Leader and his entourage". Once you escape, go to another region and do the same. "Rinse and Repeat". "Rinse and Repeat" You will get a ton of "Bows" and some "Melee Weapons" (that you can dismantle for soft skin, iron, glass, or sell for drachmae), and you will get some "body armor" (body armor drops is a "chance", but if you get them, they are really good). Also, "payoff" any bounties, if your bounty is too high. In an hour of this "farming", I got over 70 "gear pieces", that I could keep (if it's what I'm looking for), sell for drachmae, or dismantle for soft skin, iron, or obsidian glass. Plus, I also got extra "resources" by Pinging and "looting" extra items close by, stealing/looting and burning any supplies close buy, and defeating any mercenary that popped up. Plus, you can also go to "Mercenary" and Accept challenge and defeat him/her for XP and a gear piece in between. You will get a lot of Mercenaries quickly if you aren't careful. You don't get a lot of XP, but what you do get if "farming" from gear pieces. Which means you can get resources or drachmae, or that one gear piece you are looking for.

This explains why leveled up so fast this game so big I actually was doing them contact over and over again 🤦🏾‍♂️ knock no level 99 door and you on point About the Sea that other big part of way my level so high my Ship was fully level up when I got to level 50 🤷🏾‍♂️ 1700 Ship Defeated On Ubisoft club statistics kinda a shame of time played on the real but den again not really it's been helping me and my girlfriend I just got her to playing it we side by side playing it call it the Corona blocker ACO is Life for at least me 💪🏾🦍💯✌🏾

I have barely started the game (at the Sea of Posiden and need to talk to the General), have 174 hours played in this game, and I am literally going around Greece and doing exactly this to level up. I'm currently on level 48 and have probably 75% of the world unlocked. Once I get ALL the question marks and landmarks in the region from exploring, then I go to the Heremes statue and do all the contracts and all before moving on to the next region. I'll basically be at level 99 before I even start the actual story mode.

I just hit level 96 yesterday. Doing a lot of passive contracts and regular gameplay. Not really farming. But I will do these suggestions to fasttrack to level 99.

I am on level 90 I have been doing mostly of what u said here. Except boarding ship manually. I also complete the orichalcum contracts at the arena and get the extra XP.

Agreed, NG+ along with a constant stream of contracts is the least grindy way to achieve 99.

My favorite way to cheese XP is when you're first starting out after leaving Kephallonia go to really high level regions and find contracts to burn war supplies in that region. I was level 8 and took a contract to burn War supplies in Achaia, which was a level 42 recommended quest. Since war supplies can be burned at any level, just avoid combat and you should be fine. Doing 2 of those leveled me up to level 14

Quick question: has anybody else noticed that archers and marksmen do way more damage than before? I mean, I ran a full Legendary Warrior build and got one-shotted by a normal archer... That's not normal, is it? Because I've never struggled with them. Good video btw, I did the exact same thing got an extra level with two contracts that I stacked up a couple of times

This might of already been done... Do the Athens Wall run whilst you have 2 or 3- kill atheinian soldiers contracts open from the message boards in Athens. 150k exp per contract takes minutes. When complete go to the nearest message board and they will become available again... Read, kill, loot repeat.!! You can pick off other contracts/mercenaries on the way. I only got AC in December because it was £20 so my apologies if you already been there and done that. I'm going for level 99 before going any further with story/atlantis and this has been the quickest way in my opinion to get that xp... I might be wrong. 9 levels left to 99..I think it will take a few hours Then it's game on... BEST £20 ON A GAME I'VE EVER SPENT.

Leveling up only works until you get to the level to match opponents across the map. After that it’s a waste as they will level up with you. But acquiring skills is valuable. So... It’s better to do this. 1)finish odyssey quickly... (optional:seek the places where you get the ancient steles to add skill points along the way.) Upgrade the abilities mostly and less of the standard skills or reset the skill points before resetting the game at least 2).reset it 3)repeat.for some reason when you reset enemies are a bit lower level than you. Also, your abilities upgraded before the reset lock but still add to skill points when you reset... so if you upgraded fire ability tree 20 times you keep it plus you get your skill points back to use on other abilities... this isn’t true for srandard skill points like bull rush Game goes fast if you skip trying to get to all the quick travel locations and skip all the dialog and questions and scenes and make a b line for all the odyssey objectives and skip the rest and skip most of the cult. I have agamenon build mostly fire or elemental damage and some stats that boost adrenaline and where I can’t do that I do armor and max out my armor ability points. There’s probably a better strategy for farming for drachme and upgrading the max engravings quickly... Also, it’s probably a good idea to have a stopwatch and measure stuff and use math to determine value per second, minute, hour, whatever and compare to alternatives but I don’t care enough to do that.

I watched your exp. clip (for 1:59 min). It's totally spot on. IE. nation chest Pephka fort. I did 99 plus 58 master pts. in 5 almost 5.5 days. I kept going because the who-foo about Alexios kid left me bringing the wheat to the merchant just went into a holding pattern. I hoped it would restart when episode 3 came out. Let me tell you about it, ah NO! Without ep.'s 2 end no ep.'s 3 start. Spent a week with ubi support and they were very helpfull for the first 3 hrs (okay 2hrs and 56mins about). From day one I have been an obs. stalker for all things AC (I am not demeaning stalkers but I really enjoyed AC). I have restarted with g+ and am at several hundred mpts. not with tombs and I am just talking to my step or whatever that is brother. If anyone can help great but you can become a god by just following the video clip's help and seriously still love the and be challenged!! My wish is just play the game from A to Zed (which includes dlc's). And yes reinstall and all..that playthrough is D.O.A. Kudo's and thanks for non-cruddy advice. Mike H.

Fuck that, I'm still level 26 and the cap is now 99? Goddaaaaaamn

Only problem is that that is only viable once your at high level anyway. I think the majority of people watch this video are after ways to level up from 30+ cause thats when its starts to get really slow and alot of the story quests require you to fight enemies higher level for example level 38 enemies in a level 35 quest. Which on normal difficulty isnt so bad but on higher levels it is.

I don't recommend leveling up fast in this game, I recommend leveling up at the pace that the game gives you. If you don't do this you will be outscaled by the enemies which have gear appropriate to their level and some of them have epic or legendary gear and you'll have crap gear that you can't afford to upgrade because everything got a whole lot more expensive when you leveled up.

I know this is old but I get no passive contracts in pephka at all. I don't think the regions contracts work the same anymore.

I think Ubi ninja nerfed the arena strat - I have the entire right half of the map under Spartan control and can't get any contracts WTF

Jordan the enemy ships have all started sinking almost before I can get the chests looted, that seems to be their solution for boarding them, and then cleaving them to get bonus materials. I tried diving to the chests after sinking but then you can't even open them.

He forgot to mention about buying the xp boost....

I’m having issues with the Boeotia method, I realized that you have to keep switching sides on battles or the leader and chest don’t reset, but now the state is vulnerable but there’s no conquest battle showing up.

If ur really good you could use crit warrior with yumminess blade and few perks into parry heal and damage heal passives and a few into defense and you'll dominate just about anybody at arena as crits iv been dealing hit 120k-500k if i get assassins damage in a critical hit on normal attack

Trying to speed level to 99 is going to burn you out. I'm already almost burnt out on this game and I'm only on my first New Game Plus playthrough. I can't imagine somebody playing one of these games for years and years and years. This is the first one I've been able to touch since Black Flag. The others are practically unplayable. Maybe I'm just a little bit better. Maybe I long for the time when AC ment armored Core and maybe I hold Assassin's Creed responsible for the reason I haven't gotten another Tenchu stealth assassins game.
