Good stuff, I’ve already been doing everything you described since I got my big boy Leidolf. A couple of other things I would mention, and apologies, as I haven’t read all the comments yet if these have been said already…1) not only does the other commander with Leidolf get XP, but as I’ve seen so far, also any other groups you send out to battle with him in the same battle. For example, if you group attack a tough monster with three or four different groups, as long as Leidolf is in one of them, they all get XP. This is a great way to mass level up. It does chew through your power bar quite quickly though with multiple groups using their active skills. Also, the XP gains come to a slow crawl when your heroes reach into the 20s and 30s level wise. The average XP gain from a typical Niflung battle is between 1000 to 2000 XP, with his first talent fully leveled up. The average XP gain from battling a monster from the Smithy is about 12k, depending on the monster level, and it only seems to grant this XP once. Meaning if you battle all five monsters in a day to get your daily goals completed, you only get the XP bonus once with Leidolf. I need to verify this though again, it may have been adjusted in an update. Also, upgrading your prosperity level to 9 gives you a 10% hero XP bonus, which of course stacks on top of everything else . This isn’t easy nor cheap to do though. Upgrading your squad base is the core foundation for passive XP gains. The resource requirements to upgrade the squad base are actually quite reasonable with the exception of those damn monster essences that are hard to come by in sufficient quantities, and expensive to buy, for later teens level upgrades. Great tips though, it’s a great way to augment the leveling. My favorite event is Leidolf in Hiding, sending him out to “find himself” after finding him 😅

leidolf is not faster when you are new and trying to level multiple commanders. he’s only good for once you have your 2 core commanders done.
