JFC. You are not leveling the pool, you are leveling the footings. The liner is still not level, so you are putting additional stress on the most vulnerable part of the pool. This is quite dangerous and a huge liability. Do it right at setup and this is not even a thought.

I did this several times over the years with my soft side pool. We live in Florida with soft sand that shifts constantly. I did not drain the pool and used brick pavers to adjust height. He is absolutely correct in recommending to GO SLOW.

Good idea! I usually have mine drained to between 1/3 & 1/2 full for the winter. Perfect method to use before refilling in spring.

Whole new meaning to “if it looks right, it is right” If you get a flat tyre will you change the other 3 wheels for smaller sizes so it rides level?😂😂🤭

All I could think about was those 2x4s snapping or sliding off the jack and you getting decapitated… so many things could have gone wrong 🤣.. a jack on a rock holding up a pool with a piece of wood 💀

I've had to do this a few times myself. It seems no matter how much I level the ground there is always one spot that will sink.

Isnt wood for a spacer a fairly bad idea? Between bugs and moisture i cant see it lasting long.

I placed my tractor bucket over each post and took a ratchet strap and hooked it from the bucket to each post and ratchet it up to level.

And also it was completely full of water and didn't have any issues.

Also cut slices from a small oak tree with my chainsaw the thickness I needed and placed under each post.

Just leveled a 18x48 pool via this method. Rain made it sink to 6 inch unlevel. Now it's 3/4 of an inch out. I APPEOVE THIS METHOD..

We just finished filling our’s up and it’s about a 3” difference. 2 of the legs also managed to slide back in, despite me pulling them out constantly. Our’s is an 18x48 too, so you just gave me hope that this will fix our problem (or at least improve it and give me ease of mind) 😅

Or! Or! Get all your footings level before you fill the pool. Just sayin.. But seriously, cool solution. Worth mentioning, this will definitly void your warantee if it's on video. Intex and companies like that look for ANY reason to not support you or honor the warantee. I've even hear of a guy that couldn't get help becuase he admitted to not compacting the sand under the pool becuase the manual mentions not putting it on "loose sand".

The pool can settle and you will get high and low spots.

@@Chip5261985 Yeah, I ran my mouth and then one of my footings tipped the paver it was on and sunk. So guess which snarky commenter is building the jack to fix it. :)

@@AA17768 Not really... The one I just put in my self was almost 3K. Sure, a replacemnt liner is only 700$, but it takes a lot of time. Besides, people who make fun of wasting or not protecting investments, of all sizes, are most often those who have a very low investment ballance, live in trialers and talk $#!+ on the internet. LOL.

Doesn't matter how much you level or how perfect it is on install. It will settle and get a bit out over time...always.
