What i found mixing soil and sand is to put the soil on the bottom to make it easier to mix, as sand is denser it will naturally want to fall through the sand as you mix and the moisture in the soil grabs rhe sand well.

There is no right and wrong way to do this. What works for you is all that matters. No special tools or correct ratios of sand to soil. As long as the low areas over time level off your good. It's not a putting green it's your front lawn. 💪👍💚

It was really simple. Just make sure your sand is as dry as possible because it helps it settle better.

Hey just got my pro plugger. That thing will be useful for dog spots throughout the summer. Thank you. Ill probably make a video out of it Ill be sure to tag you. Ive worked in lawn care for over 10 years and never thought of plugging fescue. 😂 ive done it with bermuda, and other spreading grass types.

I ordered a total of 8 tons of sand for my yard for the past 2 years. Finally i got my front yard level after 3 days of work.
