GREAT video!! Love the step by step all explained clearly, well except the belt replacement, what a pain. Anyhow I was able to fix my dryer for the cost of the valve vs a $350+ bill for the same thing with various companies. Thanks for putting these videos online and keep up the GREAT work!

Your Awesome Video saved me over $300! The repair man wanted $405 to change out the dryer's gas valve after diagnosing the problem. I bought a brand new valve for $69 and with your step by step video guidance, I replaced it in less than an hour. Turned it on and Bingo, it works! Dryer heats up again!! Thank you for making it so easy!

My top connector has two red and one pink (rather than white). Does double red still go toward the front of the dryer?

hi is it possible to just change the set of gas coils , or do i have to change the whole valve? my dryer starts and heats up just fine , but stops heating after 5 minutes.

Could need another part you have to ohm out other safety switches and fuses or it can also be a board if LG normally no heat door switch/high limit/ ignition rare/ or coils since 2 one to start 2nd to run/

What’s the ohm range on the coils of this LG/Kenmore?

I tested mine and they were about 1800

mine has red and white wire to the bottom solenoid and double red with pink wire to the top solenoid. Is this ok ?

This valve may be used on models with different wiring harnesses, should be ok as long as you replace them in the same location.

Is this the same as replacing the valve in a Samsung DV328AGW dryer? I'm hoping the Samsung is much easier, but my money says it's the same thing. What say you, kind sir?

I have gas lp setup but I just can't turn the plastic screw to close it for this setup, anyone knows how to?

@@D4rkTaku I havent used yet, I broke the screw and had to buy new valve, I noticed that You have to use a very wide screw and plenty of force with low torque to turn it.

i change the valve and don't turn on the fire i change the thermos and nothing i thing the problem is that the valve don't let the gas go

Y como saber si ese es verdadero problema.... no vistes si valen o no las bobinas... tienes que poner todo el proceso...

Tendrás que acceder a la pieza, pero puedes probar las bobinas: Bobina principal: Pruebe el terminal 1 y el terminal 2, debería leer 1300-1500 ohmios. Luego pruebe la Terminal 1 y la Terminal 3; la lectura debería ser de 500 a 700 ohmios. Bobina secundaria: 1200-1400 ohmios
