awesome work! i was thinking that there could be also some detail in the glasses, they are all white in your renders, or would that be unrealistic?

Tried making this in Octane but it´s seems impossible. Made an hdri with a gradient but the shadows are getting too soft and grey. I set env color to black in Octane.

Thank you for the tutorial, I just wanted to mention and ensure that you can use "C4d Shader node" and connect it into the "RS Area light" by using "RS Texture node" between them, C4d Shader+ RSTexture+Arealight node I hope this would be useful,

Great technique. I wonder is there a way to do the same with Redshift in Houdini? Wouldn't be able to find a node editor for lights in there.
@lukasthorup Жыл бұрын
Yes you can do it with a cop network i believe ☺️

what are advanetes to using HDRI in a first ppace conpare to area Lights ?
@lukasthorup Жыл бұрын
I think it's the same, but for me it's a good starting point, where I can just rotate the hdri, to get the starting look, and then add on to it

@@lukasthorup ah i see i usaly go just fot arealights they seems easier to control . So was wondering if i am missing out on som fun :D
