Lighting your desk and gaming setup is crucial to the feel and look of your space. Recently, I’ve upgraded to Govee’s AI Sync Box and this single device has been powering my lighting setup and in this video I’ll go over the setup, how it works, compare it to the Philips Hue Sync Box I’ve previously used and if the Govee AI Sync Box is actually worth it.

Ive read a lot of reviews about this unit but your vid is the first one to point out the refresh rates differences with the hue sync box. 2K and 1080P looks like the way to go with it. Really helpful.

Hello, I need help. I have everything connected but it only lights up white. Even when I start lol the light doesn't change. Does the box always have to be connected to the WiFi for the video mode to work? thank you in advance for your help.

So can anybody help me please? My friend purchased this for me as they new I was building a desk set up for work / streaming / gaming. I have a 4k monitor and use if for digital art connected to my macbook. I sometimes stream PS5 and Nintendo switch and i'm wondering if this is any good for my setup as it says it only runs at 60hz for 4k... Does that mean the lights are dimmer or something I'm confused!

Instead of running my monitor out of my sync box, I'm going to have them both plugged into the GPU separately. Then set the box to copy what the monitor is doing within NVIDIA Control Panel. Should work just fine to get around those Hz limits

nice solution and thanks for answering! problem is that i use a lg c3 42 and am in need of the hdmi2.1 to run these hz on my c3. on my 7900xt i only have one hdmi port:(@@CGingerbreadman

@@CGingerbreadman did this setup work? I'm thinking of getting this and have a HDMI cable run from the gpu to the sync box and then display port to the monitor. Would that work around the Hz limit?
