Thank you very much for the valuable information! Edit: I solved my problem and it works like a charm! I not deleting the problem in case of someone makes the same mistake :) I just forgot to open the file hence there was a missing code line : Open(FilePath="D:/Backup/2022/Design_Optimization/ANSYS/WB/CFD_Matlab_trial/CFD_Matlab_trial.wbpj") However, I had an error where it says: "CommandFailedException: Parameter of name 'P1' not found in Project In file "finaljournal.wbjn", line 5" I am using ANSYS 18.1 and Matlab R2021b but I made the changes (e.g. I changed the v212 to v181) I am confused about how to continue, could you please guide me?

I found out that there was a problem with my solver, Update failed for the Solution component in Transient Thermal. Error updating cell Solution in system Transient Thermal.

If I want to do a "for" loop on length and height so that I don't have to change the value manually, is it possible to save all the results in one output file?

my suggestion would be to have a secondary output file. The first one would interdace b/w matlab and ANSYS and u use matlab to create a second one that send the data to it for every iteration.
