Intensity Shuttle USB,.. you poor blokes! (Yeah, I own one of those paperweights too) Sony absolutely need to do a Sub-1000 dollar (US) version of the XperiaPro, because right now EVERY Chinese phone brand is working out how to do one. The other option there is HDMI grabber plugged in to a OTG cable, if you can find an app that passes that out as a stream. You blokes would love moving over to vMix.

I want to live stream the stream and meadow on my farm. Lotza wildlife passing through. I want to mount a camera inside the cupola. Is this where I can learn what equipment I need?

Actually the other person I’ve done it is actually canon USA they did a live stream in the field.

Didn't really see an explanation of how to deal with the varying levels of service and reception in mountains and how that would be dealt with. That's the reason I came to this video, as that is the true challenge more than anything else, is getting reliable reception to be able to travel in the mountains and be able to live stream while snowboarding for example. So you just have reliable data or wifi on the mountain provided by the infrastructure already existing in this video?

We didn't do anything crazy. Checked the cell towers and made sure we were using the network that had the closest cell tower in the area, and we location scouted to make sure the network was good for where we wanted to shoot. We could have augmented this with a range extender, but you live and you learn. For something like live stream snowboarding which has an entirely different set of technical challenges, you're going to be limited to just cell reception of the area, or if you're stream set up is at the base, then the range of the video capture device. Either way, network range will be your biggest issue, and without carrying a 5g tower in your backpack you're going to run into dead spots.

Appreciate the reply. Smart of you guys to have checked which provider was best in the area for coverage. Would be nice to have that kind of coverage on mountain ranges to live stream, but seems like it's still a challenge until we can get good reception all over. Thanks for the info@@drewcrawford7812
