Very helpful. Is this a secure way ? If we save the powershell file on a server , are we exposing the passwords ?

Yes this is more secure way. Don't store password in server instead prefer keyvault

@@vrksolutions3097That's the catch-22. The powershell now needs to retrieve the password from the keyvault. To do that, it needs a credential. Where does that credential come from?

Agreed! There should be someone who will rotate. And there will be someone to rotate as understand the reason the scenario has arised access though service principal instead of user is to limit the access to subscription
