Very cute outfit but I wouldn't say it looks "expensive". Loose fitted crop top will always look casual no matter what you pair with it. Same goes for that colour denim, either opt for darker denim, or black/white/neutral, and pair with simple belt. Too much bling takes away from the "expensive" look. If you want the "rich" look: Keep the outfit simple, match it with great, timeless accessories, and always do your make-up, hair, and nails... even if it's minimal (and you did that beautifully).

Getting clothing tailored is such a good tip for making things look more expensive & chic as well. Tailoring is a great way to look fabulous while on a budget ☺️❤️

To be honest this outfit doesn’t look expensive. You can clearly see the cheap material of the blazer as well as the crop top. Focus on the material - especially with bright colors! So important! And also bedazzled = big NO to look expensive.

But it’s so easy to spot a cheapy, low quality blazer. Then, knowing that - it’s a giveaway that the designer accessories are fake. To me, crop tops never look expensive or chic. Something that I feel like I’m the only one who notices: legit wealthy people usually don’t wear flashy designer stuff! They wear expensive quality classy pieces - but don’t need to try to be flashy with designer logos/noticeable pieces. When someone has money, they don’t need to try to make others think they’re $$$.

For those of you who want cheap blazers. Many thrift stores have a large supply of blazers for cheap. I've gotten 2 of them for only a couple dollars each that no one can tell are not several hundred dollar blazers.

I grew up in an affluent community: stay away from glitter it’s cheap. Tailor Tailor your clothes. Don’t over do it in accessorize. Spend your money on your face and hair. You can buy clothes form the Goodwill ask g as it always pressed and clean and tailored. Save your money for tu less jewelry I.e Van Cleef and 3 consignment designer handbags oh! And even if you look like a million if you open your mouth and sound cheap forget it. Intonation and read to sound eloquent and polished

I don't think it always has to be what your wearing that makes you look expensive or chic. I think a lot of the time it's how you carry yourself in the outfit. Confidence is key. There are expensive is just to do with the cost (you can buy expensive tracksuits) and chic is just a style. I think more than anything making sure your clothes are well fitting and compliment your silhouette to truly embrace a chic look

The first rule to making any outfit look expensive is to have items that FIT. Your pants are way too big on the waist and that crop top looks stretched out, which is only exacerbated by your girls swinging too and fro whenever you talk louder than a whisper. And then you add a clearly cheap blazer (love the color and style, but looks like a leftover from a Zara sale rack) and bedazzled shoe and purse that look even cheaper than the blazer…looks like the kind of outfit I’d wear to stunt going to Red Lobster for dinner in college after a week of eating ramen. Not a bad look but somewhat immature. And absolutely NOT expensive.
