I thought I was crazy when I thought that thrifting gave me a high and when I had withdrawals from not thrifting for months. Now I know I'm not crazy. Someone actually thinks exactly like me and that's THE Eva Monroe. ...and I also say that it's like treasure hunting by the way. 😉 Oh, and the part about not saying a word and wearing your poker face when I find a treasure... totally true as well. 🤫

I love thrifting too. People always ask me where I got my stuff from, little do they know that almost everything I wear shoes and all I got it under 10 euros. You really find nice things when you take enough time to look and have good eyes. I live in France and I always go in thrift stores near posh areas where the rich donate.

One way I elevate or customize thrift or clearance rack tops, sweaters, jackets, or blazers is to replace the plain/cheap buttons with nicer, shiny, glassy, or more colorful buttons. Customizing the buttons takes the item to a whole new level & truly makes the item one-of-a-kind.

I must say you are intriguing. I have no desire to be a perfume, clothing or women's beauty afficiando but I can't seem to not drop in and check your content. There's something special about how you relate. Keep it up sister

Yes!! Thrifting is so addictive and I love the "thrill of the hunt too!" I have about 10 genuine leather coats and I'll bet in total I didn't even spend $50.00!! 🤣🤣

Add broaches on back of clothing to cinch it in. 5 wear trench coats like dress 6 buy a suit break it up . I always enjoy the shock factor of telling people that my whole outfit has been thrifted and including shoes may cost less than $15. That gold collar with screw closure could be worn to the front and add a jewel piece to it, what do you think? I like every last item you thrifted but I will give the favorite to the floral pants suit (that hard to find and it fit well). Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

OMG You hit the nail on the head with the new clothing in the stores. I was was telling my husband that everything is so Holly Hobbie style pioneer woman. He bought me a cashmere sweater and jewelry but he usually buys me cute dresses for Christmas but he said they all looked like potato sacks. He said I’ll go get a potato sack and cut out holes for arms and your head before I’ll pay 💰 for that crap. And the girls on FB trying to sell these sweatshirts with poor fitting pants that are tie dyed and are expensive! So thank you. I’m not crazy. Also you know how to thrift like a boss I wear stuff off of Poshmark all of the time. Also I love thrifted clothing. My favorite shirt is a St. John that I bought at a second hand store for less than $10 as it was on sale. I buy men’s blazers too. You rock sister!

This is the way I shop ALL the time. Well over 30 years now. Last haul from my Goodwill and Texas Thrift included a gorgeous black St. John (brand new) blazer for $6.00 and a pair of Ann Taylor pumps with a tortoise shell block heel for $4.99, "nearly" new. At least 95 percent of what I wear comes from the thrift store. Best place for jeans, too.
