I stopped buying high end products five years ago. You are absolutely correct! I love the makeup/skincare I use and all of them are just as good or better than expensive ones!!

Three years ago I bought very much highend makeup and then I discovered, that the drugstore has products, which are similiar or better then the expensive brands. Since then I only buy drugstore makeup.

Allie turned me on to Believe Beauty and I now have about 5 or 6 of their products. The foundation really is fantastic and at $5 it’s the best deal going. Love it.

@@kaksha17 So the business earns more money lol. I think you should only replace mascara every 3 months if you wear it almost everyday. If you only wear it like once or twice a week (like me!) you should be able to stretch it out by 2-3 months lol.

I feel like the Believe Beauty Foundation is a dupe for the Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation (which I also love) - they both look very similar with a skin like finish. The Believe one does transfer a bit more with my oily skin after a few hours compared to the UD Stay Naked one, but for $5 it’s amazing. ❤️

Honestly, I love drugstore foundations, the problem is the shade range and undertones. The best match I've found is the MUFE HD liquid foundation and it is 39€ if I remember well. The only good foundation match I found in the drugstore is the ELF flawless finish foundation.

I first tried a nude lip liner.i have bought 3 now,all the same color.Its my fav plus usually its sold out so I snagged up extra when found them.Allie is right about that foundation,its very nice...Also there eye blending brushes and angled brush work so good!!!

I like the foundation, brush for foundation, and the bronzer--matte and elegant and cool toned enough I can use for a light contour. Also like their brown mascara.

I love watching declutters. All my makeup fits in a craft box that looks like a caboodle. But all the decluttering and organizing videos are so relaxing to me. It's also a way for me to see makeup products I will never have enough money to buy haha

Drugstore makeup is my favorite. I'm 54 and I've tried every brand of makeup out there and I've found that drugstore products are as good or better than the majority of luxury brands. I don't have any high end staples that I'm ride or die for but I do drugstore items! Thank you for this video sweet Allie! I just love your down to earth personality. You remind me of my youngest daughter Whitney. Your both just naturally beautiful, inside and out!

Great look!! Love what you did with your eye look! It looks so pretty on you. I love using drug stores makeup, not only is it affordable and doesn't break the bank but it can look just as beautiful as high end makeup does. I'm like you Allie, I get upset when I use up a high end makeup product because it could be awhile before I can replace it, but with drugstore makeup if you run out of a product you like using a lot it is very affordable to replace it and not worry about the cost. A good tip to applying your setting spray is spray it on a sponge and then apply it to your face. That way you won't have to reapply your makeup or get it on your eyes. I have been doing this for years and it helps a lot and it also let's your makeup last a long time as well. I use wet n wild photo focus natural finish setting spray. Great video as always Allie!! I absolutely LOVE Believe Beauty! After your video last week showing the cream blush in Doll Face I had to run to our Dollar General about a mile from our house to check it out! Unfortunately they were sold out of it but I did pick up the other one (something) Sunset. AMAZING quality! We are on vacation and it is SOOOO SPACESAVING and the color is stunning and longwearing! Beautiful as always! I love layering the deep shade from Milani Stellar Lights in rose gold over my bronzer for a glamorous and elevated look. I had that palette forever and was always afraid of that shade but decided to try it to glow up my bronzer one day and I'm obsessed! Some of my favorite go to and signature products are drug stores and dollar stores. The funny thing is I have yet to find a high end dupe that is the exact shade of my favorite nude lipstick. The best foundation brush I own is a brush I got on clearance at Walmart. Just bought a set of RT brushes today.

I am now in my late 50’s and have started to take more of an interest in makeup as I need a bit more help to look my best! I love watching your tutorials as whilst the colours may be a bit too much for me the techniques are great to watch and try. I now have small hooded eyes with crepy lids so some looks don’t work for me but it’s still fun to experiment. You have a lovely calm way of explaining things too. The only downside is I live in England so can’t get a lot of the drugstore items you love.

amanda smith take a look at Hot and Flashy. She is like us and over 50. She does a great job with eye tutorials to make older eyes look their best. It's all about contouring your eyelid. I started really getting into makeup when I turned 50 for the same reason. Now my collection is ridiculous! Don't go overboard like I did.

Hi Yvette. Yes I have seen her and agree with you. My eyes are quite hooded, one more than the other and so have not much lid on show. I try all their tips to not look droopy (with mixed success) but now I can accept the fact I will never achieve their results but can use the techniques to get a different version that works for me. Galloping towards 60 I like careful but not excessive application.

I have quite a few of these products. Love the look & definitely need to use my Sailor Moon palette to re-create it. I hate that high end makeup costs a pretty penny but at least it lasts a while. My problem is wanting to try so many things! It's so nice to know there are cheaper options out there. Makeup is so fun!

Believe Beauty has some of my favorite liquid liner pens, especially because they have beautiful colors! I have yet to try anything from their range that I didn’t enjoy.

I've been loving that wet n' wild translucent loose powder! Just as good of not better than Coty Airspun without the scent. I'll even wear it without foundation just over moisturized skin to give a smooth base for powder blush, bronzer/contour, and highlighter. Revlon powder blush in Apricute is another recent favorite.

I really love drugstore/more affordable looks! Also, I could totally be wrong but I don’t see many reviews on BB creams/lighter coverage makeup. I have freckles and I love letting them show through so I never wear high or even medium coverage hahaha. I would love to see a video about lighter coverage makeup! If there are good videos I can be referred to, feel free to leave me some links! I’m not the best at keeping up with my very busy lifestyle. Love your videos! ❤️Also loved today’s look!! 😍

You look so stunning. I love, love, love this look. That eye look is so beautiful. I’m going to have to get that palette. It has so many beautiful colors. My favorite bronzer is of course the Butter Bronzer, my ultimate favorite lipstick is the Covergirl Outlast liquid lipstick in Berry Delicious (a purple color) I’m obsessed with this color. I had to get it on Amazon because they don’t carry it in the stores anymore. 😩. The Covergirl Brow Powder, the Elf putty blushes, the NYX gel eyeliners, the LA Girl gel colored eye liners (I’m obsessed with those) and the new Maybelline lip glosses and vinyl lipsticks.

Love your channel! Thank you so much for doing the reviews and evals of the makeup products from high end to drug store brands. Also love your tips and tricks. I would love to see more of those. One thing I would suggest is to not use the concealer tip from the makeup bottle directly on your blemishes. I would apply some on the back of the hand to prevent bacteria from getting into the makeup concealer bottle. Will make your concealer last longer with less bacteria growth in the bottle
