We use makeup to look good and youthful but not knowing how to apply make up can actually age you. Not all of us need surgeries or botox to look better in pictures. We spend money on buying expensive makeup.. How about learn to use those beauty products to enhance your beauty and look younger in your next photoshoot. Get ready before you post your next instagram selfie.
i have shown a lot of makeup mistakes all at once. Which is why it look like a lot to believe and accept. it doesn't mean you make all those mistakes. you could be doing a few things wrong but correcting them can give you a facelift.
when i moved to the US, i had the fantastic opportunity to work with Bobby brown as their nation makeup artist. Although i pursued my career in photography, the hands on experience of working with different kinds of skin types and ages, taught me a lot about makeup and how one trick, trend, routine or color won’t work for everyone.
what you see in my video is just my opinion to improve your photos. Try my tips along with what has already worked for you in the past. i would love it if you share something new that you know. so please share in the comments or even on my instagram pages

thank you for another clearly stated video! I really like that you SHOW what NOT to do (not just talking about it), and then show what TO do! I am very uncomfortable with my makeup skills and this is by FAR the most helpful video I have seen on the topic of makeup in general. I found your explanation of the interaction of light and dark shades with lighting and the effect all this has on the overall look. 😊👍❤

Oh dear, I've fallen into the eyeshadow trap. I was doing all wrong...it didn't really matter a few years back but now that I'm in my mid 30's I'd noticed it didn't look so good. Shimmer is my enemy but it's so hard cause I loved it so much. And all those teens and 20 something yr olds always pack it on no problem. There should be more women like u out there with "real" solutions to "real" makeup problems that are helpful to us the ones that have gotten stuck in time. Thanks! Going to go through my make up stash and pull out all the mattes! ;)

Loved your video for mature skin. I need to follow your advice . Thanks for this video. Hope you would do videos with drug store brands that could be duped for high end products. Specially for skin care and make up for mature skin. There are so many young girls doing it . But for younger skin.

You are a beautiful woman, thanks for sharing these tips! My mom is 76 and still wears that dated 70s makeup. I've been trying to get her to "lighten up" for years. I'm going to show this to her. She doesn't realize black dramatic makeup is for 20 year olds and makes her look older. Thanks!

I'm 63 and swear by having a makeup "lesson/freshen" every 5 yrs-don't wait for your friends/partner to tell you! Thanks for this post! You are the FIRST person to mention not to apply mascara right to the roots-I thought I discovered that on my own-as well as applying eye pencil through the lashes! Hehe. Though I have lots of lower lashes-all mascara just ends up smudged under my eyes so, I just put a short line of grey shadow on the middle bottom. (It saves me from harsh scrubbing later.) I also "discovered" that if I put my (very subtle) lipliner up-just short of the corners a little (just like your eyeliner application) it makes a real difference. Cheers, from Toronto P.S.- I just bought myself an airbrush to apply primer/foundation/eye shadow/ blush, bronzer and get coverage with 10 drops of my custom colour!
