As of 3.23.1a this no longer works. You can drag 2 guns to the container, then the box has an "infinity " symbol for capacity and becomes "locked". Nothing can be dragged into or out of that crate permanently . Im told the workaround is to, quote; "1. Open the inventory normally, quickly close it *before* it has a chance to load any of the items. Easiest to do by pressing the i key immediately as the UI opens. 2. Quickly press F to open the storage on the crate, this should open the new looting UI. 3. Click the arrow at the top right to change to the old UI. There you go, now you can loot as per usual. You may have to repeat this process every time."

For the planetary stations you can access your inventory from 15km out. The advantage here is that most Armistice zones don't start until 12km out. So now you can also pull out weapons, reload, put them in weapon racks, etc. Just be careful of griefers though.

I knew I had to do this but it's really nice to actially see how it's done. Useful video.

I just shove the corpses on the elevator between waves, and cram them in the back of a titan, and sort them out when i am somewhere safe - its surprising how many corpses you can cram into it but the ship will start to move around when it gets full ,

i think it may be faster in the current build to get naked, drag the undersuit onto yourself (which will take all armor) and then drag the undersuit off your self into the container.

I would transfer the STOR-ALLs to your local inventory until needed. If you lose your ship, you'll lose everything in them.

Great video, i playing SC for 7 years now but never get into that gameplay loop aka scavenging/looting after i doing ERT and other types of bounty/mercenary missions.. thanks. I have a sugestion for video, how about list top ten (or something like that) rarest items in the verse and second, where this items sell ? Armors and Weapons, Ship components etc. ? I already know the answer but for newcommers will be interesting, maybe i missed and you already have video tutorial on youtube... anyway, thank you again!

How do you get the containers on your ship? The game won't let you drop them in hanger. They are stuck inside local inventory.

I have a problem with crates guys…I spent 2 hours trying to put the enemies stuff inside this thing…nothing worked. I tried with stuff from inventory, with object dropped on the ground, weapons, armors, everything…nothing worked…it’s a new bug?

Also, allegedly you can actually drag the entire loot box into the storage container - but if you take it out, it'll disappear, together with whatever was inside.

Been playing for 4 days The whole loot organization is a bit of a complex headache My question is: 1: I used to leave everything on my freelancer, but fear losing it if the ship dies, but it seems like your saying "pick a space station and dump everything in local" ok I guess thats not really a question. 2: Also, do you know if I leave a cargo crate in the hanger with loot in it, then fly away, log off whatever, will it still be there when i get back, i guess i could test that. I am definitely getting some of those crates though, thanks for that.

How to get the armor your wearing?

I loot bunkers for profit How I do it. I put two one scu boxes in the nomad hold in the back and bring only 1 in the bunker. All bodies I tractor to the elevator and tractor it to the back of nomad. During the run I move around with the box and loot all weapons (Easier than dragging all to one spot plus weaposn like to glitch). Drag loot box inside my box and loot then discard. I loot all medguns to my person as well as the med attatchment. They sell 400 to 600 ea and can stack to sell all at once in pharmacy. Then outside after the mission I drag only heavy helmets and Cores since they sell the most and discard the rest. All moved to ship inventory and sell straight from the nomad as to not have to deal with clicking and dragging through the whole station inventory. Back to my ship the other scu box I had is my garbage box. I put all attatchments and random med pens and ammo inside so it's out of my ship inventory ready for the next run. I can make 200k depending on the mission in a couple of runs including payouts.

the game is so janky you're lucky if this works. had so many times you get the crate into the bunker then it just decides it doesn't want to be a crate anymore then you can't do feck all with it

Always good of U tutoring the noobs IS! I do it alternatively, cause it saves me time, I bring a box, but just for the weapons and loose armor boxes, but i collect all the baddie bodies on to the elevator and beam them into my ship! preferably I use something like the Titan, close to the entrance and just beam all bodies in, and the storrage box with the guns! to bad U cannot pull off armor from the baddies directly to the storrage box, would then save time! Try it out and time it! I have worked out a routine that puts me back in the pilot seat with 4-6 minutes to spare, when taking off from bunker, and then I just either go to an OM point or land further away from the bunker then just loot all the bodies and dispose of them outside or in space. I find this method especially great when doing wave bunkers, or where baddies spawn in undefinedly until U leave the bunker.
