Chase get a heat lamp to pre warm your molds, blender and injector up with so that your plastic won't cool off so fast while injecting. Also to make your plastic go further have you tried chopping or getting a cheap small food processor to really grind up your leftover harden pour tails and mixing cup cured plastic and mix it with new plastic for up to a 4 to 1 mix. I use to manufacture many different soft baits and we would use regrind as we called in in plastic a lot.

The best weedless top water bait ever made. The strike king grass frog Bill dance edition would be great since the don't make them anymore and are hard to find.
@HodgePodgeGarage5 жыл бұрын
Very nice. I just started making soft baits and made a two part injection mold it of plaster of paris. It kind of works but the main body part almost always had a bubble or is hollow. The mold also isn't super smooth so that transfers to the bait and they aren't shiny. I need to make some aluminum molds or vac 50 molds...

@6.5mm_is_the_best_mm5 жыл бұрын
Get a hairdryer or a heat gun and preheat the mold and injector and you wont have any bad pours. I don't make soft plastics but I cast bullets and that is standard casting practice to preheat molds, ladles, etc. Anything that will rob the heat from the casting medium.
