I agree with you brother. Looking at how much diesel and DEF cost and what you should run in miles based on pay and how far or sort mils are reflects what one keeps in earnings. I agree with you many don look at what they want and how much they would recap after fuel and how far they should and shouldn't drive for cost efficient mor to save. I'm proud of you man and I agree. I took wouldn't feel comfortable of others driving my trucks either. I am looking at getting money saved up o get a box truck with lift gate and an electric sit on pallet jack cause I need it to sit since I cant walk too well but other than that man I mean I am still work you know. To get loads from Amzon relay you have to have a class A lic . And your D.O.T number has to be atleast 6 months old and have 750,000 freight insurance. . And your truck has to be 2014 or older . Starting price are 50,000$ . You have to have a truck with lift gate . And your box truck might need to have a DEF tank to delivery in some states . Box trucks get 6 miles to 7 miles a gallon with a full load , you will need a class 8 box truck . Weight limts that is 32,000 pounds . Have to have your money right before you get into the game . And have to put in more than 8 hrs . And more than 5 hours you have to be willing to spend time away from home to make money and have to know how to save money . Their will be slow days and their will be days you have to put your truck in shop . You can only use one dot . An mc number per truck . When you run under your own Authority your are responsible for the cost of the truck . But their is money in Amazon relay . But i dont think this guy is tell everything. He left a lot of parts out . He do make it sound good . I think he is into more get likes than into box truck . How much tax did he pay off his net earnings. What was his fuel cost for the year . Did he even do 50,000 miles much less a 100,000 miles .

Hey bro I work a 9-5 and saved up enough money to purchase a 26’ft. On my 3-4 days off per week I was planning on Amazon relays for loads. I always thought it would be easier to hire someone to drive for me starting off so that I could have 2 sources of income to quit my job faster and focus on driving full time(maybe even buying another truck). So my question is: Starting off would you let someone drive your truck for you? If NO why wouldn’t you take the risk?

The problem I have with Amazon relay which I am approved to haul loads for is the fact that there are one ways. And a the fact my dispatcher that I have normally never has any loads departing from that area. So with all the dead head traveling back with no load and fuel that makes the run useless and worthless. How do you account for that
