How to Make A 3D Pokemon Card

This video is a quick guide on how to make your own 3D Pokemon Card! I go through the selection process, materials you need, the planning process, and then cutting and gluing the cards!
Here is a written list of the materials that you need for this project:
-4/5 (or more depending on the card) of the same Pokemon Card
-5-8 (or more if desired) other cards to use for spacers
-Cutting Mat
-Cutting Knife
-Marker - Art Marker Ideally - I would avoid washable markers/sharpies
-Clear Glue
-Parchment Paper
-Something to put the cards under to lay them flat
-A Ruler - Dont be like me - Use One

Just use the energy cards for your spacers. Once you cut out your picture on one of the cards, just use it to trace it out on the energy card

I am into 3d cards. I watched a bunch of videos and made 3 cards of my own. I am still watching tutorials to improve the quality of my cards and this is hands down the best i watched so far. It has everything you need in and everything is explained. Just one thing: your pikachu could have been better with some other cards to make it more 3d, like dedicating one layer to the clouds, putting the skyscrapers on different layers and maybe even doing this for the pikachu

For the shadows, I got better results with acrylic paint as it doesn't get soaked up by the paper so much resulting in much cleaner edges.

It is a bit tedius haha, but It just adds a little touch of shadow to it for the overall 3D effect that I personally like.

Thank you for this! I'm a long time collector, but I haven't been able to actually work in years due to mental health reasons. I'm trying to research into this so maybe I can start my own business with it! I already have all the bulk I need to start out. I'm a bit confused with some parts, but I'm sure I'll figure it out :)

This is really cool, I wonder why you cut the pikachu out of the shell card to paste it back, just something I wouldn’t do. But I feel like this was a bit more in depth than some other videos I’ve seen doing this craft

This is great. I was wondering. Say I have 16 cards to glue together. Could I glue 8 sets of 2 together, let them dry, glue 4 sets of 2, and so on until it's one unit or is it just better to start from the bottom and work up?

Im sure that would be fine! I work from the bottom and work up since it helps me visualize the final product better and keep myself organized. But it would be worth experimenting with to see how it goes!
