Great job. I just got a lathe and look forward to making a load of bats. I’ve been saving all kinds of wood from downed trees that I plan on practicing with before getting some proper commercial billets.

This was awesome. I have a lathe as well. I love to go downstairs and carve up a bat out of a good ash billet. Keep up the good work!

Eric, the angle of your tools, especially your skew. I know it wasn’t really an option without a sharpener, but as with any knife, a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp one. It really looks awesome!
