You did awesome creating your first DIY video. This alone takes time and practise to learn! Great job! The hoodie teaching was awesome and kuddos to your Mom for helping you! Way to go Mom! I love the hoodie made out of tapestry blankets and they have a really unique look to them and they would be so warm. I like the blue one the best. Colors and pattern are really appealing to wear anywhere. I look forward to seeing more of your DIY videos and creative ideas. Thank you for sharing! 💜

You did a great job on the video. Showing the first hood is educational and a heads up for other sewists to be mindful and make the hood big enough to fit the way they like it. It's only thread and you could replace the hood with coordinating or contrasting fabric. Maybe even replace the pocket with the same fabric as the hood so it looks intentional. Tapestry blankets fray easily when cut and you did a great job explaining the process. Keep at the sewing and we'll see you making more fabulous projects.

Omg I enjoyed this so much!! I’ve just started to sew myself, cause I don’t want to keep asking my mum for help😭and all those professional accounts show their tutorial in a way like you should just understand small details yourself. That’s why I don’t understand why they write “beginner” in their title. Anyway, I really loved this video it was heartwarming and really well explained. And I love that you guys just laugh over the hoodie thing😂It just shows that sewing isn’t that easy!!! You’re lucky to have your mum, remember to thank her, they appreciate that more than we think♥️

This is the sweetest comment I’ve ever received! Hahaha seriously though sewing is not as “easy” as people make it seem. My moms amazing I love getting to laugh with her over silly little things, and always altering my thrift finds lol, Good luck with your sewing journey❤️❤️❤️

Well done sweetheart and thank you for the inspiration ❤❤❤Sewing machine complete beginner here but just a thought you could arrange the parts to do a zig zag stitch thingy down all of the seams so that the hoodie can be fully reversible and you get to use it either way ❤❤❤❤

You can always add a strip of fabric to the center of the hood (in between the center seam) and it will be in 3 pieces, but it will make it wider to fit your head! Hope that makes sense! 😊

Hey, thank you for the video, love it and your explanations of how to do everything are perfect! What size were the blankets you used/what size would you recommend?
@kaliroark6388 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It was tough to explain the tutorial! I would say the bigger size the better just so you have more material to work with :)
