This is truly a movie of all time! The actors exist, the director are there, the soundtrack was made. 10/10 would recommend.

sometimes i come here to watch this after i watch a big new trailer just to remind myself that they all do this and i'm always blown away how accurate it is

When [character played by B-list actor] sacrificed their life to save [character played by A-list actor], I was in tears.

The fact that this is 5 years old and still holds up is scary

Do one for a comedy, they're all the same. 1. Upbeat music. 2. Introduce characters and what they're doing in their lives. 3. Upbeat music quickly stops. 4. Someone does/says something "funny." 5. Music starts up again. Repeat Steps: 1, 3-5

You forgot the clip of the Rock looking up at something big but we cant see it.

I think one of the reasons this parody succeeds so well despite being text is the same as why books can be so captivating. It simply plants the seeds and lets our imagination run wild with what it'd actually look like.

So glad this movie made $492M at the box office. Hope a sequel gets announced.

if I ran a movie studio, I'd have this format for every one of my trailers. Same shots for actors, same VFX scenes (i'll reuse them; not making a new shot just for the movie) and the same font the reason is that even though this has become a trope, if I did that, it would become super memeable. You'd only need somebody with a few minutes of time and adobe photobucket to make a "scene by scene" comparison and lots of people will trend my movie in exchange for feeling smug about making fun of it. And the movie itself will be just as formulaic because formulas work and make profits. I'm looking at you, blumhouse. do it.
