Honestly I appreciate this style of tutorial. He just, DOES it and explains it. Other tutorials have been harder to understand for someone with ADHD who needs to know how to do the thing and gets distracted by the music in the background or the filler talk. In the properties panel on the right, there is an option to display the waveform for your audio file. It makes cutting/syncing a lot easier.

String of assumptions here, but I think "k" is the hotkey for cutting audio because Blender's creator Tom Roosendaal is Dutch, and the Dutch word for "snip" is "knip." I mostly just love this cause I love seeing the creative process. Also cause its a clear reminder for people why projects of longer lengths take the amount of time. The final product here was like less than 20 seconds but in a (sped up so i dont know the exact time) recording it took over an hour and a half. This takes time and its always worth it. Love the work man.

i decided to download blender and try my first actual animation using this video as a tutorial and (even though i thought i would be trash) it's going really well and i'm super proud of it. i didn't know if animation was something i wanted to get into before, but i think now i definitely wanna try some more. thanks for being inspiring and cool and stuff :)
