Just wanted to show you how to make a standard rabbit nest box. These nesting boxes are perfect for the cooler months. I wouldn't use these in any temperature above 85 Fahrenheit.
The nest box is very easy to build and only takes about 20 minutes to actually build it. You can get away with using scraps for this project as I did or you can buy a sheet of OSB/Plywood and build a few of them.
You don't absolutely need to pain the nesting box, but it will help protect against the elements and make them last a little longer. Also, it makes it easier to clean them out. Stick with high gloss paint, stay away from matte or flat finishes.
You can use glue, nails, or screws as I did for this project.
