May I ask, what specifically is the benefit of surfer? It seems autocad is adequate once quickgrid has rendered the contour plot (dxf). Thx.

Thank you very much for this interesting and very nice video. I'm following your explainations, but I have a problem with the Excel-file. As I save it from TCX like you said with "No", I get an excel-file without columns, only rows, so it cannot be modified (to only LONG, LAT, ALT). I also tried it with "Yes". Then I get an Excel-file with columns, which can be easily modified, but the data format is with "," instead of ".". And this doesn't work in QuikGrid. What am I doing wrong? What else should I try?

This might be useful, but i find using QGIS as a better option, i didn't have to open this much softwares.

lat and log are degree format i think you may convert that to utm for correct values . also no need to use these converters just use QGIS that may be an easy to use accurate quick and free solution.
