Nice but its kinda hard to use this one with current technic paradigm, where they do not use "system-like" bricks anymore. And its understandable, since such kinda of connection do not provide enough rigidity

I think using a Solvent weld would yield a cleaner, much stronger bond. Although, still, great video! Thanks!

how durable is this? hot gluing two plastic surfaces together won't withstand much twisting torque. i can never get hot glue to stick to anything. how long until it broke?

no, the PWM is different as David Lechner said: you have to use a Servo Controller and an IR receiver.

I doubt this can endure much torque. A plain surface glue connection is not resistant to shearing.

I'm going to make that soon, but you can only use the battery box to power the servo, to give signals to the servo you'll have to use an Arduino for example
