How to Make a Custom Wrap for Boat Wheel

Here is a tutorial explaining how to wrap your boats steering wheel to give it a unique look that is functional. The added grip is great! It takes approximately 85 feet of para-cord to wrap a 15 inch wheel. I purchased my cord from Ebay for $7.00. In this video I show you how to get a clean wrap using the over and under wrap. Joshua Taylor said this wasn't his best video, and with that said, it is still instructional. The half-hitch, which is what he's doing, isn't that hard to do and this video does show it well enough to get the job done. Thanks for the video!

Try pouring some boiling water or just wet the paracord and it will shrink nicely and tighten up.

+Joshua Taylor (Salty Scales) This little trick comes in real useful, especially for wrapping because it gets your wraps tighter than you'd ever be able to do with your fingers.

as you are wrapping where do I want the bumpy part? I'm on a sailboat. Do I want the smooth surface up so my fingers are on the bumpy side underneath or do I want the bumpy side up so my palm rests on that?

Bumpy side goes up for me but it really is preference.
