Is there just the arduino? No shift registers or mosfets? How did you have enough pins to control each LED individually?

@@Xhhynn1168 I think it is defined by the way you connect LEDs. See at 4:41 only single led glows at a time

@@ravihebbar5737 yup. But the ground of led in every layer is in different positions. I've already made this project and it's awesome. I think it is on the signals that the arduino releases to the led that controls which one will light up.
