Wish you would show more detail on how you made the first cut fid the cross in the middle. That’s where I have the most trouble with

It would help it you explained how you cut a 90 degree corner with a jigsaw.

I would drill a pilot hole near each corner. Then go up on the wood until I hit the hole then you'll have enough room to turn 90 degrees and cut across to the other hole.
