Cool tutorial, but I think the safety pins are soooo dangerous for dogs, especially if they're playful. Velcro is defo the best option.

Sorry, we didn't make it clear enough. Safety pins were used just for a few minutes to take some photos and shoot some quick videos. Of course if you have an active dog and want the shirt on him/her for awhile do not use safety pins.

Surprised they didn't think of glue. Fabric glue or hot glue either one will work fine do it before you put it on the dog even if they did the safetypins why not beforen you put on the dog but I'd say no to safety pins and some dog young dog might get those pins off swallowing say no safety pins

He gets treats every time I take out the camera so you're pretty much right... he has to listen to a few commands, but he'll get treats and he always likes that!

Thank you. This was clear and concise. I would also suggest putting some elastic around the dogs hindquarters attached to the shirt on either side or attach two pieces of elastic on the shirt to keep the shirt on both hind legs. Definitely will be giving this a try! ❤

@@sanchitasvlog4200 people said this same process works for cat clothes. Don't know about rabbits. Cool thing is that you can make this out of some old kid clothing that you were gonna throw away anyway. We made a dozen of these before we got it right lol

I have watched far to many "no sew" doggie clothes videos and yours is the only one that truly was no sew - was easy to follow along and actually looks great! All the others had these itty bitty dogs and they used old socks or hats for clothes (very cute - but I have a mastiff) - THANK YOU!!! I can FINALLY get something to fit my giant doggie!!! :).

Omg I have a 30 pound female corgidor aka corgi labrador retriever mix. How did this look for you because I know how to hand sow and want to do this for my service dog but am also gonna look for kids shirts like someone I watch online who does it for there female corgi and never thought of that but think its a great idea both ways

If I want to cover/protect a spaying incision can I keep the shirt long and not cropped? What adjustments should I make aside from not trimming the belly part of the shirt? Thank you!

Every dog is different in size and their temperament. My friend who has a German Shepherd did not crop the shirt at all where the dog's belly is. The cool thing about this is that most of us have several old t-shirts we can try this with. I would try a few different sizes and crops to see what works best for your puppy. The shirt is probably not a good way to "protect" your puppy but I wish the best for you. I'm definitely not a professional or a vet, I'm just a guy who was tired of buying over-priced dog clothes that never fit :) definitely consult with a professional about your spaying incision concerns.

How would you make a shirt for my dog, her right leg has been amputated at the shoulder? I can see where your instructions would work for her, but I think the arm hole would need to be sewn closed at the arm hole, just not sure where to sew it together at exactly.
