Hey nice tutorial CJ. While in the piano editor, to move all midi notes up or down an octave, press cmd A to highlight all notes then press option + shift and the up arrow or down arrow. Makes it so much faster.

When you're dragging your midi notes down an octave you can just hold shift+alt(option) and press down on the arrow key and it will do an octave for you.

sorry, noob question man. super helpful video. one thing though, when youre clicking with your brush tool, are those notes automatically snapping to the scale you quantized to? how do I do that? Saves alot of time rather than highlighting then quantizing. thanks bro!

train your ears bro, sometimes it takes time to find a matching sound. Stick with it and you'll get better at this. This isn't really something I can teach you, because its a gut instinct type of thing...
