If you want to give that piano more of a drill sound, instead of just cutting off the low end like most people do, you could use a filter named Fuzz Wah, it does the same thing and adds some nice sound effects, hope this is helpful :)

Bro. Thank you for this. Was needed. Btw , you can pitch the hi hats in the step sequencer by setting the channel to “note” in a individual step sequencer region on the individual track that Hi hat is on in the drum machine designer track stack. “If that makes sense , lol”

@@CJBeatzProductions interesting. just opened the project . i see you use the overdrive on the master bus as a pseudo "soft clipper". is this like a parallel to FL studio's soft clipper?

@@Lovlee33161 yup, I basically used the overdrive plugin to emulate the soft clipper in FL studio, nice subtle clipping without the harshness of a hard limiter. I have a pretty popular tutorial if you search soft clipper logic pro x it should pop up...

Hey CJ, why not use UltraBeat in full view? Is it solely because you’re able to pitch your sample in DMD? It makes sense, I just haven’t tried out the new sequencer yet. Bout to download this file to give it a shot right now.

If you download the free project file, link in description, then right click and use show package contents you can get all the drum files. Or you can just open the project file and save the drums in logic directly

you want to strip frequencies right? I think thats what 40 talked about. Hes not actually changing the sample rate but actually removing entire frequency ranges. If we talking about the same interview...?
