I watched every second of this video! So fascinating! After divorcing and getting my exwife breast implants I decided it was time for myself, had all my upper teeth pulled for a denture implant. Didnt last, anchor posts fell out. So now its just a denture. After this vid I purchased all the materials necessary to make my own. I have to say Ive never been happier, Nobody can tell and theyre a perfect fit. This is the best video ive seen. Thanks for the inspiration!

I paid for my partial denture today and now I’ve seen how much work goes into its manufacturing I’m surprised I didn’t pay a lot more! Thank you for this very informative video. Both my parents were dental technicians in the 1950’s and although materials have changed the principles have remained very similar.

On top of that, 70% of the cost the patient pays goes to the dentist who gives the denture, the technician always does the bulk of the work for a fraction of the pay, and is responsible for the material support.

You can prevent a ton of tissue side work by lightly skimming some wax into the grooves of the palate and blocking out large undercuts on the master model before duplication. Just steam it off afterwards for final fit. And heavily draw the design in blue pencil so it transfers and gives you an easy guideline to trim to. These were huge time savers back when I made these.

Absolutely fascinating procedure. You are very talented & highly skilled. I wouldn't know where to start! You give so many people back their smiles & change their lives. It's sad that so many people can't afford to get their teeth fixed judging from the comments. I feel very blessed that we have the National Health Service in the UK, so people who can't afford this or medical procedures (because they are on low income or benefits) get it done free by paying into the scheme when they are in work. Repetitive music very annoying though!

Flexible dentures are not for immediate. Temporary can be 3 months to 1 year. Your tissue shrinks, and dentures don't fit. Will break if not relined, and you can't reline nor add to flexible dentures it will debond or break. A remake of a new flexible denture is needed.

This is very interesting to anyone with dentures personally I have had 2 sets and they involved months of sore spots and ulcers which was mostly due to the pink plate rubbing in so many places and being thick and uncomfortable, this is logical as it is an extra layer added to the roof of the mouth but is a pain.

Luke, you are a GENIUS in your field. It was a pleasure to watch this! I'll see that I get a Fiber Flex myself soon. Can ANY dentist offer them or they come specially from YOUR COMPANY with referral or what do I need to do to get one from you? The good thing about this design is that there is NO METAL that could scrape away on existing teeth or anything. How long would this last? 1-2-3-4 years? For someone who is VERY CAREFUL with eating tough stuff.

So I noticed some major differences from the way we do things at my lab. We do not use the TCS putty and we also use flaskit material for the top of the flask. I also use TCS lubricant spray for the bottom of the flask where the birthstone side is. I also heat up a sprue iron and use the heat to seal the white spray Wax down to the buff Stone so you don't have to coat it with pink wax. And use green soap for separator in lieu of Vaseline. Altho they use Vaseline on the denture side.

Years ago I didn't like the partial my dentist made, so I found a Lab in my area who made new ones. I loved his work. They won't pull any of your teeth, keep that in mind. Google in your area in, and you will have to wait over 3hrs, but worth it, and yes you do have to pay. I live in California.

You must do a wax block out retention previous waxing (better fitting).... it reduce adjustment working time and imperfections. Retainers too noticed on cuspid and 1st premolar... Sorry but I encouraged Cosmetic Perfection when I am dealing with my CDT's work... By the way nice steps, Congratulations. Warm regards.

Big OPERATION, technology should improve with machinery for everyone to have more access to this type of part. Nowadays implants are only for those who can afford ...but excellent job! I have a similar one, but I have readjusted it myself with my tools like these. But before putting it on, don't forget to put it in warm water for a few minutes, it makes the fitting much easier. This helps, but any foreign body in the mouth is terrible, it is not easy to adapt.

Kinda makes me want to buy all the necessary equipment and make my own dentures. It'd probably be cheaper than getting them made by a professional. I'm 100% positive i would go through half my pallate & gums goop striving to make one perfect set though. Now I wonder how long it takes to go through denture making school🤔 Time to Google.

nicely done sir, i, say with authority, fifty five years as a crown and bridge tec. I' learned you have to be patient if you rush they won't come out as beautiful as the flex you have processed. and as for the music, i'enjoy it very much. for those who didn't I remind them, you don't go to a dental lab to listen to music, you go to work eight hours a day, forty a week... and if you are boss ten to twelve a day. 🤣😂😁 from 🇵🇷 rico, with love wishing the best to you and your laboratory. 🌈🏖🏝😎!!!...
