When I was younger I loved the muppets and still do, I asked my parents for a Kermit the frog Pupet and they looked confused and said they it couldn’t be done, on Christmas Day I opened up a gift and found a Kermit the frog Pupet in a box. It was made by my dads friend who makes puppets for fun, I was so happy, I got too meet the guy and he showed me his work and gave me some old supplies for me too use, I cherish that day because that let me get into Puppet making, and your video helped me get started. The frog design was the exact same as this one here and it just brought me such good memories ☺️

My twin is neurodivergent and has a special interest in Muppets, if you talk to them for even five minutes they'll tell you all about the life of Jim Henson and everyone he ever worked with. I've been working on making them their very own puppet for our birthday, and I just know they'll love it!!!!

I'm all about reusing what I have around the house. Be it cardboard, foam from packages and laundry detergent bottles. I am hand sewer for the time being. I am still working on my very first puppet. Thank you for your very useful and helpful instructional videos!

Kydex is a cheap sheet plastic thats easily heated to bend or mold. Lots of holster are made from it.

Where would you see that used in this build? It’s a little stiff to use for the mouth.

@@PuppetNerd not this project but 1/16” kydex on a larger one would probably work well. Would be a good application for a beak too. Draw the patter and put it in the oven for a few min and it cuts with a razor very easily. Then stiffens as it cools
