Quick note before commenting: at the time of making this video, i did realize that it wasnt actually a taser. This was is basically just an experiment i wanted to try out to see how many views i would get just by putting up a "how to:" video of building something stupid. This is not a taser. This will only heat the spring . If you want to make a taser,you should buy a Dc-Ac coverter or a voltage booster or doubler ( with a 9v battery) but this thing that you shows in this video will never work

I made a portable taser with 2 D batteries and damn does that thing heat up fast!

bro that is what you would call a short circuit. not a safe thing to do buddy. do this with larger batters and they will explode, or from a power outlet and most likely gonna start a fire. if you short circuit the power in your home the circuit will switch power off too that part of the house, but when they fail houses burn down man. even if the breaker cuts the circuit, the electronic device that was the cause of the short can be damaged if not catch fire or explode. stop doing that. i didn't even mention burning yourself... also you can cause a battery to internally short circuit and will remain that way even after wires are removed and battery will burn itself out or explode, you can't stop it unless you totally dismantle the super hot battery without getting battery acid In your eyes or throw it in a lake. i don't recommend any of the above...

Fun fact you can do this with a 9 V battery and you can make a fire starter I have done it before!

Did you guys not play around with a battery and tin foil as a kid ? It's not a taser you just wired the ends of the battery together and it heats up because the electricity has no where to go. If you do it to long the battery will explode

My dad has been working with batteries and cars for 20 years now those batteries are to weak it won’t work as good I used a battery that my dad gave me it is a 12v battery for one and it burns the whole wire
