Step-by-step beginner's tutorial of making a junk journal hard cover from scratch. I was challenged by my friend, Shariqa, to make a junk journal using only vintage supplies. In this episode we are making embellishments, a hidden spine and I am sharing a flip through of the finished journal.
Journal info: 13.5 cm wide, 20.5 cm tall, spine 5.5 cm, 5 signatures, 67 journal pages.

Oh Barbara, half way through the video I wasn't feeling the love for this journal and I was worrying about were there going to be any gold splatters, but when you started telling Renee's story I fell completely in love. When I saw the gold splatters I was in heaven because now I thought it was truly your journal. Thank you for taking us on your creative journey.

Oh my gosh, I didn't like the string either, I am so happy that others said something, much better choice Barbara. We love you for listening. Love that you made a story. I first got interested in Journals and book making watching Nik the Booksmith, she makes amazing tomes, and would create challenges for her subscribers using themes. So, this was a wonderful flip through.
