In this video, I will show you how to make a kite in under five minutes, using materials that are readily available and can be had for almost free (total spend should be about £3).

Cheers! As for the mic, that's actually just a Zoom H1 suspended inside a large bird feeder using silicone strips, with a furry cover over it. I have a similar build coming up, where I explain in detail how to make a double shock-mounted stereo mic with wind protection, which should be completed soon (I have loads of videos coming up).

amazing sound for that much wind
@WoahWoah3789 жыл бұрын
Sterling Blair That "furry" thing is the microphone. That muffler doesn't allow the wind to blow into microphone membrane very hard. As the result you get a nice sound quality.

He is making a Scott's sled. He forgot to cut in the triangle between the 2 sticks. It's an easy kite to make, and a ball to fly. My dad and I made them about 47 years ago. A nother good and easy kite to make is called an Eddy kite, it needs no tail... Look them both up to learn more...... Have fun flying!!! PS. I am 59 and still fly kites.....

Maybe it has been posted already, but this kite flies even better when it gets 2 squared holes side by side towards the bottom. It gains altitude much easier with these and needs less windy conditions. Well done!

This would come in handy if one where to be stuck in a mountain or lost there way and needed to call for help. Simply write HELP! on the back of the kite and fly it at a near open area.
