Thank you very much for this video. Well made! A pleasure to watch! I went with Mathias Vandels bandsaw a few years ago. But it is so big I got afraid of it, so after a couple of months I disassembled it for my own safety. Now this video makes me want to do another one. Your is simpler in design, I really like that. What is most difficult, is probably finding axles and bearings that match together. Last time I went to a local blacksmith and got him to make some costly custom made axles for me in the right size. Once agagin thank you very much for this video. Greetings from Denmark.

Excellent. Super simple build but the results speak for themselves. This looks completely approachable by anyone with a few tools to start with - having a table saw to begin with is helpful but not crucial.

Some problems that need addressing when you build your own - First and by far the most critical is no dust collection. The inside of the case will fill up with saw dust and choke the unit. Second - no brushes on the wheels to keep sawdust from building up. Third - The bearings used on the guides should be adjustable. Forth - don't use electrical tape to cap off a wire. Use shrink wrap. If those things are corrected, this is a nice bandsaw.

I see many other tools you've made and hope to see videos on them as well. I've been thinking about buying a bandsaw but lack of space in my garage has always stopped me from buying a big bandsaw Maybe I will attempt to make a smaller one much like this.
