How to blow your fuse box in 5 minutes The coils are not heated even, so many hot spots. And just, no.. like, good concept, but if anyone's reading the comments, don't try this. That must've ohmed out Hella high, and that's super dangerous

@@numbereightyseven It's not a wall socket. It's a 48V DC power supply. That is not a harmful DC voltage.

This is not conecte directly to AC mains but to a 48 V power supply. Pay attention this is briefly shown when he connects the ac plug to the device.

Did I missed something or are the heating coils directly connected to a AC energy source? AC is extremely dangerous and can easy kill you just by touching one wire and not 2 like DC

You need a tempeture sensor and a resistor in place. Its also not energy efficient and theres a 70% of burning down a house

No it does not consume nearly 2000 watts, it runs on 48 volts. 2000w/48v=(around) 42a. And no, I don't believe it draws that amount of current :).

Furnace cement is a hight temperate cement used as a mortar or for repairing fire bricks. You should be able to find it at any construction materials supplier like home Depot or Lowes etc.
