So....I found a couple heat treated pine pallets
on the side of the road and decided to make a parlor guitar
out of them
My total cost to make this was $82!!!

Hey Brad, great to see you watch and support channels like this but yeah my explaination to that is that it's 2022 and humanity seems to have never been less interested in music than ever before and because of that nobody cares about intruments that much anymore, but I think you could have already guessed that by yourself. I really started to notice that when I started playing guitar with 13 as all the other gen z kids my age were not really interested in playing any kind of instrument, and now with 20 I'm struggling to form a band because I have trouble finding same minded people that also play instruments, so long story short people don't care about music anymore :( PS: Kind of sad that SPF is over but it is stupid that you have to basically work for free, but please keep making great content for us, we need you!

Exactly My friend built one of his guitars from some maple for the fretboard and then we went to Homedepot and picked through 2x4 fir studs until we found one that tapped nicely. Bandsaw, planer, sander, glue, clamps and appropriate hardware he had a really awesome playing and sounding acoustic guitar. Fun stuff.......

I don't even have the words for what an incredible guitar this is. I love how you take things that are otherwise considered cast-offs, trash, or have little value in the eyes of most, then defy opinion and arrogance, creating instruments for the ages. The sound from this parlor guitar is outstanding... and it hasn't even aged yet!!

That’s a neat build. Quick since you bought a premade neck. Nice little guitar. Would stand on its own in the mix of a band. Good size for toting around, too.

Fascinating use of a pallet to make that guitar. And the way you built it should be stronger than normal with such soft wood. Bridge is interesting. You'll adjust intonation well, but if you wanted a piezo pickup it might be a challenge... Although disc types like K&K should be fine. Overall, very cool.

You ever considered putting something like D’Addario Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings on one of these? It might temper the brightness a bit.

Methinks you on drugs. This little guitar sings loud and clear. Drowns out my Taylor. Are you deaf? And 10 months later, it's still like new. I know it sucks to see you've been lied to for so many years about bracing. This guitar proves it means nothing.
