@@jamesbygrave1247 I sent 2 postal orders along with the v55/5 form. I go over this in the video... One order is for £20 which is the tax. And the other was £50 which was the registration fee.... It will be a little bit more than that though if you are using postal orders. Refer back to my video for anything else..

Just been on phone to dvla it's been changed due to the fact we left the eu. I've just bought a kxf 125 from funbikes so trying to get it registered. The dvla agent said because it was bought in the UK an funbikes is a vat registered importer it's just a v55 now.

Because I purchased this from a shop so I didn't believe I needed mot. However I did put all the lights, speedo, horn etc on the bike anyway so it was suitable for road use... And they are road legal knobblys tyres so they are legal :) please consider subscribing to my channel to help support 😎

Hello mate, how old are you? It depends from on laws etc, I mean, there is nothing stopping you getting a bike and working on it to make it road legal and wait until you able to do it All legally if that makes sense, I mean, here in the UK you have to be 16 to ride a 50cc engine sized motorbike.. Anything higher you have to be 17+. And also have a CBT (compulsory basic training certificate) easy little test. It may be different in the USA and other countries. Yes you can... Whether on finance from them using dividebuy or not... Once that paperwork goes through and you get your bike the bikes is yours and paid for. You just owe the money to dividebuy, its basically an interest free loan. But yes the bike is yours and yours to do as you please

You have to go to a garage along with the logbook or you can order some from ebay for example but make sure they are dvsa approved.

@@CommonG not just a halfords it has to be a garage like a mot test centre and they will order you your plates they dont fit them there and then. :)

The person required to make the NOVA notification is: the person who acquired the vehicle from another European Union (EU) member state the person who has imported the vehicle from outside the EU and is liable to pay VAT on the import Please contact your supplier in this instance Fun Bikes and advise them they are responsible for making the NOVA application as they are the original acquirers of the vehicle and must account for any VAT due on the vehicle.

All i did was take some pictures on my phone amd semt them in an email mate. And it only took me around a week to sort the nova out

@@skreep6528 you will need a provisional drivers license you have to be 16 in order to obtain one.. And if you want to drive a geared 125cc you will need to be 17 and have a cbt yes. You can't just take a cbt mate as you need a provisional to do so. Hope this helps. Thankyou for subscribing :)

However, after using funbikes myself i have found they are a horrible company...no after care support...send wrong items, put phone down etc...they do not care...im currently in the proccess of taking them to court mate...so i personally if i was you, would not bother with funbikes

@@bigdawgggg not really, had to order another rear sub frame as the bracket part which is welded to the frame where the exhaust connects too broke off. Shit quality. Also the rear brake has snapped of from the frame so i had to weld it back on. Not happy at all mate, hence the reason i am taking them to court under the consumers act vecause it is not of satisfactory quality. The things that have broken shouldnt have broken its as simple as that. Also, they continue to send me wrong parts, not offer a refund...and now they put the phone down on me when i tell them postcode etc for them to get my account up...so now they wont help anymore...hence im taking them to court. Im also going to go down and pay a visit when leicester is out of lockdown. Cause a few of them are getting a slap...especially andrew "so called manager" for putting the phone down and lying to me. (Basically taking me for an idiot). So we will see who has the last laugh mate :) But honestly, go somewhere else, save yourself the trouble...wish i did.

I have now spoken to 4 different places that do MOT, they all said I will need a certificate of newness to continue with the 1st MOT. However Funbikes do not provide certificates of newness. Very unsure of what to do now

I sent them my receipt of my purchased bike...which contains a vat number as its from a VAT registered company. Funbikes uk Thats all i needed to send and it was accepted via email Best advice is to buy one from new so you get a receipt, proof of purchase Hope this helps

@@PriFaint you can for certain get road legal tyres with innertubes as I have them, however, if you want to use tubeless tyres it is the same process you would follow if you was doing it for a mountain bike (MTB). You can easily find this by typing it into google or youtube mate :)

Hello, i sent £75 which is £50 registration + £25 for the tax. Along with the v55/5 form. It was paid via a postal order which i also sent with the rest of docs. I then received my log book and proof of tax 11-14 days later, hope this helps

What do you mean? If your on about the registration plate... You order one from a garage or ebay once you have your log book.

@@raggadan1653 oh, how old are you? Do you have a provisional license card? If not, then you have to go to your local post office and ask them for a form to get your provisional license. Fill the form out and send the relevant fee's directly to dvla. It used to be £50, not sure if this is still the same, It could have gone up since I got mine. Soon as you have got your provisional license card, you can then look for a local bike learner company near to where you live, and you will need to undergo a CBT (Compulsory basic training) basically you cannot ride a bike on the road without doing this, unless you have a full UK driving license then there is no need to do a CBT or use L plates on your bike. So to cut all that short. Get your provisional Do your CBT L plates on your vehicle

If you go onto the gov.uk website or just type into google you would like a v55/5 form it will take you to it. But basically its on the gov. Website.
