Instead of using two separate pieces for each arm, I create a single mesh. I drag out the arm, extrude it, scale it in, slightly pull out the extrusion, and then extrude again. Finally, I scale it out a bit. This makes rigging more challenging but gives a better appearance.

Tbh this is the best one I've seen so far. It helped me learn so much in blender. And the modeling was actually successful. I'm making a player model for Dyno Chaos. I also decided to add ears which still worked. And I also recommend changing the texture on one of the textures that look really similar but change back if you made sure everything is textured correctly.

This tutorial was extremely helpful however for the hand when I was extruding along individual faces it would always add a this finger in the middle where the hand should be, if you instead of extruding along individual faces, extrude face along normals it fixes this this third finger. Hope this helps anyone!

here are some tips from a certified funny person (lie) if you want a short of wide ish shoulder effect like in lethal ape i would recommend extruding the forearm and just making a new cube for the lower arm and as for rotating the arm a little popup should appear in the bottom left corner (when you eventually do rotate an object) that says rotate. open up that popup and set both the z and y axis to 180
