- V E R Y nice job ! ! ! The pleats make it look very 'upscale.' For measurement info, if each pleat is folded 3/4 inch, the full pleat is 1.5 inches which will help when you're purchasing fabric. Thanx 4 sharing.

When stitching the pleats do you stitch into the binding around the metal with your needle going through the binding or do your stickers go around the metal?

Hi, I have a conic lampshade and I want to pleated fabric on it. But I don't know if I must cut a rectangular template fabric or conic template fabric. How do the pleated goes ? I folded fabric with iron and it doesn't go on lampshade. Folds are bigger at the bottom than at the top.
